A Sweet Legacy
My love for baking started long before Legacy Pound Cakes & Treats. It began in the kitchen, watching my grandmother and my mother turn simple ingredients into something unforgettable. Their kitchen was their place of peace, and every cake, pudding, and dessert they made carried love, patience, and purpose.
I’m originally from Dallas, Texas — Oak Cliff, to be exact — and those roots are a big part of who I am. I started baking because I wanted to create that same feeling I saw growing up: the joy on someone’s face after the very first bite.
My mother’s banana pudding was loved by people all around her hometown, and it taught me that food has a special way of bringing comfort, connection, and community together. That is the heart behind Legacy — desserts made with love, rooted in family, and created to be remembered.
